Click on “Printers” (start menu)
- Click “Add a Printer” (toward top of screen)
- Click “Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer”
- Click “The printer I want isn’t listed”
- Select “Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname”
- Click “Next”
- In the box next Hostname or IP address, type the IP address, as listed on the
printer
- (For Example: 172.16.13.209—include the “.’s”)
- Make sure the box next to “Query the printer and automatically….” Is unchecked.
- Under “Device Type,” next to “Standard,” choose “Hewlett Packard Jet Direct”
(click the small triangle)
- Click “Next”
- Under “Manufacturer,” choose “HP”
- Under “Printers,” choose “HP Color LaserJet 3700 PCL 5” Click “Next”
- Type in the correct name of the printer (e.g. “Apollo4”)
- Click “Next”
- Click “Print a Test Page” to make sure it works
- Click “Finish”
