Change Settings From East Campus to West Campus:

Each student who has a new Dell laptop should follow these instructions. If problems occur, see Mr. Golanka in the 3^rd Floor Computer Office or Ms. Harris in the High School Center for assistance.

ALL STUDENTS NEW TO TREVOR DAY SCHOOL will need to see Mr. Golanka or Ms. Harris to create a password for accessing the school network.

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

2. Double-click on the Network Icon

3. Double-click on Client for Microsoft Networks

4. In the box that says Windows NT Domain: switch from ‘ec’ to ‘wc’ (no quotes)

5. Click OK

6. Click on the Identification Tab of the Network box

7. In the box that says Computer Name: enter your username (i.e. jsmith, jdoe)

8. In the box that says Workgroup: switch from ‘ec’ to ‘wc’ (no quotes)

9. Click OK

10. The computer should ask you to restart your system. Click Yes, and when the computer restarts, you should be able to log onto Trevor’s network with your username and password.

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

2. Double-click on the Internet Options Icon

3. Click on the Connections Tab

4. Click the LAN Settings Button

5. In the box that says Address: switch ‘fwec1.ec.trevornet.org’ to ‘fw4.wc.trevornet.org’ (no quotes)

6. Click OK and then OK again to exit

7. You should now be able to go on the Internet through Trevor’s network using the Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop.

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

2. Double-click on the Mail Icon

3. Click on the Show Profiles Button

4. Double-click on Trevor Student

5. Double-click on Microsoft Exchange Server

6. In the box that says Microsoft Exchange Server: change ‘ex3’ to ‘ex6’ (no quotes)

7. In the box that says Mailbox: enter your username (i.e. jsmith, jdoe)

8. Click OK, click OK again, and click Close to exit

9. You should now be able to use Microsoft Outlook to access your school email on Trevor’s network. Trevor email addresses are created by using the following formula: username@trevornet.org
