Opening Multiple Tabs Automatically in Internet Explorer 7

IE 7 has a new features which allows users to open several tabbed pages at once. At any point, users may open new pages on additional tabs which appear near the top of the program. Opening several tabs at once allows users to easily jump back and forth between web pages.

Opening several tabs automatically when opening IE 7 is useful for teachers who need to use several web applications or pages every day. 

Here's how:

1. Open IE7 and navigate to the very first page you would like to open. Our example uses my.TrevorNet, the Trevor Portal.
2. To make the my.TrevorNet your very first homepage, do the following:
   1. Click the drop menu to the right of the Home page icon.
      
       
   2. Select Add or Change Home Page...
   3. Select Use this webpage as your only homepage.
   4. Click Yes
      
       
3. Now add a second tab:
   1. Navigate to a new page which will represent your second tab. The Attendance website was chosen for this demo.
   2. Again, Click the drop menu to the right of the Home page icon.
      
   3. Select Add this webpage to your homepage tabs. Click Yes
      
       
   4. Click the Homepage button
      
   5. Both tabs will appear.
4. Repeat step 3 to add more tabs. Suggested tab sets are

5. You may click and drag any of the tabs at any time to change the order.
   1. To save the order, click the drop menu to the right of the Home page icon.
      
   2. Select Use the current tab set as your home page
