Mission statement:

We are a professional association of music and movement educators dedicated to promoting the integration of music and the arts into the lives of our students  Inspired by the examples of music for children developed by Carl Orff and his associate Gunild Keetman,  we wish to nurture the creative spirit in all children, making music education a "hands-on" experience rather than a passive one.  We use musical ideas from the many cultures that make up our country and our world.

Our mission is to support teachers through sharing sessions and workshops with renowned presenters.  We provide educational materials and demonstrate approaches to teaching which can be used in the music room or classroom for students of all ages.  Our goal is for everyone to experience the joy of becoming a creative musician.  JOIN US!!
