What is the NCAA Clearinghouse?
 | The NCAA maintains a Clearinghouse for both recruiting and eligibility purposes. If a student expects to be actively recruited by a Division I, Ivy or Patriot League, or Division II school, he or she must register to be certified as eligible by the Clearinghouse prior to any expense paid visit to the school. |
| To register with the Clearinghouse, a student must complete the Student Release Form, which is available in the college office or directly from the Clearinghouse. If a student does not fails to register, or is deemed ineligible by the clearinghouse, he or she may not participate in Division I, Ivy or Patriot League, or Division II athletics. |
